Economic Relations Between US & Pakistan by AMPAK
America Pakistan Business Development Forum (AMPAK) celebrated Independence Day on 14th August, where different Politicians told their opinions on US-Pak Trade.
Pakistan and the United States have been economically working together for a long time. Although there were issues faced by people. Be it in regards to investments, suggestions, or many different things. Obviously, it is really hard for people to trust people who work in some other country. For this purpose, came forward AMPAK. AMPAK is a medium to connect investors and businessmen in Pakistan and the United States.
On Pakistan’s 73rd Independence Day, the AMPAK team hosted a small event at their own secretariat. On this auspicious occasion, there were several politicians who were invited to the event. This included, Dr. Abdul Qayyum Soomro, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Bilal Ghaffar, Dr. Sohrab Sarki, Karachi Commissioner Iftikhar Shalwani, and Syed Nasir Hussain Shah. There were members of the AMPAK team to receive the guests. The AMPAK team included, yed Nasir Wajahat, Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain, M Noman Ahmedani, Dr Farhan Essa, Aftab Imam, Khalid Mumtaz, Halar Wasan and others too.
On this occasion, Nasir Hussain told “Pakistan is keen to strengthen trade and diplomatic relations with all countries. Since the United States the biggest trading partner of the country, we especially value our relations with it.” Nasir Shah also appreciated the AMPAK team. He said, “The effort being made by AMPAK to further this cause is commendable.”
It was a great moment, surely, for those working at and leading AMPAK. It is really hard to maintain relations with such a country, and surely AMPAK is doing a great work here. We hope AMPAK continues to do their duties the same way, and connect people, so that Pakistan grows altogether.
