Ertugrul’s Engin Altan Meets Terminally Ill Children

Ertugrul star Engin Altan met three terminally ill children from Pakistan. The virtual meeting was arranged by Make-A-Wish foundation and hosted by Bulbulay star Ayesha Omar.

The ceremony in Karachi was attended by Turkish Concul General Tolga Ucak, along with stars such as Zeba Bakhtiar and Humayun Saeed. It began with a recitation from the Holy Quran and led to the introduction of Make-A-Wish foundation and the three terminally ill children, Sidra, Sohail and Fizza, who wished to meet Engin Altan.

One of the children, Sohail, expressed his appreciation of the gesture by the actor whenever the Prophet (PBUH) was mentioned in the series. “I saw the drama on PTV and it made me so happy because it educated me on Islamic history and its brave soldiers,” said Sohail.

Sidra and Fizza, along with Sohail, had dressed up as their favourite characters from Ertugrul and asked Engin Altan his opinion on their looks. The children clearly were in awe of the actor, especially the way he fought in the show as it looked realistic.

Overwhelmed by the love he received by these children, Engin Altan showed his excitement and praised the children. Now, he is looking forward to visiting Pakistan even more than before. Thank you very much, I can see I inspired you and I am very happy for this love,” he said.

It is nice to see that many stars, such as Engin Altan, are willing to work with Make-A-Wish foundation to fulfill the dreams of children like Sohail, Sidra and Fizza. We look forward to the Ertugrul star’s visit to Pakistan.
