Caltech University will build the Resnick Sustainability Resource Center. It will serve as the hub for climate change research, and have laboratories for undergraduate students as well.

In a statement passed by Resnick, he is reported to have said:

“In order to comprehensively manage the climate crisis, we need breakthrough innovations, the kind that will only be possible through significant investment in university research.”

This Resource Center will help conduct research towards environmental sustainability. It will focus on building smarter electricity infrastructure, managing water sources, and measuring, modelling and mitigating climate change.
