FM Qureshi Has Landed in the UAE For His 2-Day Visit
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has landed in the UAE for his two-day visit. He will be holding discussions with the UAE leadership.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has landed in the UAE for his two-day visit. Qureshi was received at the Duabi International Airport by the Consul-General of Pakistan in Dubai, Amjad Ali and other officials of the Pakistani embassy and members of the UAE foreign ministry.
During his visit he will be holding discussions pertaining to areas of mutual interest with the UAE leadership. Moreover, views will be exchanged between the two regarding bilateral cooperation, mainly focusing on trade, investment, and welfare of Pakistani diaspora in the UAE.
The UAE is home to the second-largest Pakistani community abroad so FM Qureshi will be meeting with members of the Pakistani Diaspora and will also interact with local and international media.
Because Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s visit comes weeks after the UAE temporarily suspended visas for Pakistanis- apparently due to the pandemic- it is being speculated that Qureshi will bring up the matter during the discussions he will hold with the UAE foreign ministry.
Qureshi’s last visit to the UAE was in January to attend the 9th Sir Bani Yas Forum which discussed issues pertaining to the Middle East.
