FUROR Sports Cricket Championship Comes To an End
The 9-day Furor Sports Cricket Championship ended a few days ago in Karachi, with Baldia Sports taking home the trophy and 150,000 pkr prize.
As the recent fascinating season of the Furor Sports Cricket Championship ends, we will have a rundown of what the championship is and its moments which captured the audience throughout.
The tournament was called Furor Sports Cricket Championship and was sponsored by the infamous Golootlo app which provides discounts on several restaurants, salons, retailers, grocery stores and clinics even.
The core objective of the Furor Sports Cricket Championship is to create opportunities for aspiring athletes and provide them with a platform where they can showcase their talent.
They brought together cricket enthusiasts and local players to come through and show their passion for the sport. The cricket championship brought together 48 teams from Karachi and more than 500 players. The championship was indoor tape-ball cricket.
The 9-day tournament started on 17th December to 25th December with the winning prize of 150,000 Pakistani Rupees. The cricket matches of the championship were played in Airfield KMC Sports Complex in Karachi in the area of the well-known area of Bahadurabad.
Runway Pakistan and Billboard Pakistan were the media partners of this cricket championship and promoted young local talents and the Pakistan-wide spirit of cricket that we see during international or local tournaments like this throughout the year.
The Furor Sports Cricket Championship finale was held on 25th December with Cues & Savours and Baldia Sports, who qualified for the final match. Baldia Sports took the trophy home in a very intense match against Cues & Savours.
