Humayun Saeed to Star In Hit Netflix Original Series “The Crown”
According to many close sources, Humayun Saeed has been cast in the hit Netflix Original Series "The Crown" as Lady Diana's love interest.
It is reported that in the upcoming season 5 of “The Crown”, Humayun Saeed will play the role of late Princess Diana’s love interest.
Humayun has been selected for the role of British-Pakistani Dr. Hasnat Khan, a heart and lung surgeon, who was romantically involved with Lady Diana for two years. The princess’ friends have said Khan to be the “love of her life”.
This season is set up in 1990 and will follow the Royal Family events from that era. The season will end with the Princess of Wales passing away in a car accident with Dodi Fayed. It is known that the relationship between Dr. Hasnat Khan and Lady Diana ended because of Dodi Fayed. In this time period, the relationship of Prince Charles and Lady Diana also collapsed.
Hassan Zaidi, a senior journalist, tweeted the news “BIG BREAKING: Can confirm that the next season of Netflix’s The Crown will also star our very own Humayun Saeed He will be playing surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan, Lady Diana’s alleged ‘true love’ who she apparently called ‘Mr. Wonderful.”

Journalist, Hassan Choudhary, also tweeted saying Humayun Saeed is going to be the first Pakistani actor to star in Netflix Original Series.

Mahira Khan also tweeted in excitement for her co-star from Bin Roye, Humayun Saeed.
Production of season 5 of The Crown is supposed to resume in January 2022 and the season is set to release in November 2022. The cast list includes Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, Jonny Lee Miller, Dominic West, Elizabeth Debicki, Marcia Warren, Olivia Williams. Along with of course our Pakistani star, Humayun Saeed.
However, Humayun Saeed himself has not said anything about this news.
