It’s Inktober! Time To Put On Your Creative Hats

You might not be aware of what this month-long challenge is bringing for the artists. Inktober celebrates artists all over the globe- this art challenge was started by Jake Parker. Every year, in the month of October artists takes on the challenge to draw something every day. That’s 31 days and 31 drawings per artists. Crazy, right?

Well, the goal of this challenge is to develop positive drawing skills and to improve ink drawings. I am sure this sounds easy, but just like writers block people get artists block- the hardest part is to figure out what to draw.

According to Jake Parker, “Anyone can do Inktober, just pick up a pen and start drawing”.

• The rules are pretty simple:
  1): Make a drawing in ink (you can do a pencil under-drawing if you want).
  2): Post it*
  3): Hashtag it with #inktober and #inktober2019
  4): Repeat

You can post it on any social media platform or you can post it up on your refrigerator – The whole idea of Inktober is to share your art with someone. Let people know the creative side of yours!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This just doesn’t end here, if you think it’s really not easy to figure out what to draw for like an entire month. Then you should head over to their prompt lists. This will help you figure out ideas for your creativeness. But if you have your own unique ideas then go for it.

 

Now all you have to do is draw. Draw to your heart’s content.
