JK Rowling: Fully Recovered from COVID-19 Symptoms

In her tweet, she uploaded a video from Queens Hospital to explain how to relieve respiratory symptoms, stating that she used this technique on her husband’s (who is a doctor) advice.
“I really am completely recovered and wanted to share a technique that’s recommended by doctors, costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot, as it did me,” she added.

JK Rowling is just one more celebrity who has announced that they have recovered from COVID-19 – others include Tom and Rita Hanks, Idris Elba, Prince Charles and Pink. The virus has taken over 74,000 lives all over the world so far.
JK Rowling and Harry Potter at Home
JK Rowling also launched Harry Potter at Home for families that are in lock down due to COVID-19. In her statement, the Harry Potter author stated, “The teachers, parents and carers working to keep children’s lives as normal and happy as possible while we’re all on lockdown deserve a bit of magic. I hope these initiatives will give children and even adults a happy distraction during their enforced stay-at-home time.”
Furthermore, during the month of April, free audio and digital editions of the first Potter book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in US), will be available on the website. To make this magic happen (pun intended), Rowling partnered with the audio publisher-distributor Audible and the library e-book supplier OverDrive.
