Karachi Weather Update

Since a couple of weeks now, Karachi has been facing harsh weather conditions with temperature reaching 39-40C. But here is a good news for all Karachittes.

Sadly, Pre-Eid, Eid and Post-Eid hasn’t been much fun for the people of Karachi, due to apparent heat waves and hot temperature of the city. With people not leaving their homes, the temperature on Eid 2019 was recorded the highest since the last 20 years or so. Unable to depict what to do in this hot weather, the people of Karachi have left everything on God.

Cyclone hasn’t yet formed but will form within next 24 hours. And the cat-3 cyclone is also not confirmed but expected by some however cyclone may intensify into cat-2 cyclone or even more. Karachi/Sindh coast has no threat for now, many models are predicting its landfall on Sindh coast but it is not the only scenario. Karachi may witness heavy rains by 14th June or even not a single drop – all dependent on cyclone’s path.

Yes, that means some rainfall at the end of the day. But what we have got to see is, if it does go according to the expectations and predictions, and if it actually does, it will be good not only for Karachittes but also for the conditions of the city. Meanwhile, our municipal officials should be working on the drainage condition of the city in case, it rains more than our expectation.
