Last night’s PSL 7 match between Islamabad United and Multan Sultan kept the crowd on the edge and was the talk of the town especially the performances of Multan Sultan’s Khushdil Shah and Islamabad United’s Shadab Khan.

Although Sultan won the hearts and the match, United didn’t surrender peacefully either. United had to chase a sky-high target of 217 runs and Khan made 91 runs in just 42 balls with nine sixes smashed to get to this score, which is quite remarkable. Islamabad United made 197 runs at 19.4 overs when the last player was declared out. Shah was able to bag four wickets in the match while only giving away 35 runs.

Twitter was filled with praises for Shadab Khan declaring this 91 run score the best of his T20 career.

One netizen praised his sixes, the highest number of sixes made by any player of United in the history of PSL.
