Kumail Nanjiani Goes All Desi For The Premier of ‘Eternals’
Kumail Nanjiani made a bold statement on the red carpet. The actor donned a gold and purple sherwani for the red carpet premier of 'Eternals'.
Kumail Nanjiani dazzled the red carpet during the Los Angeles premier of his upcoming Marvel superhero film ‘Eternals’.
The actor went for a complete desi look as he wore a gold and purple Sherwani designed by Umar Sayeed.
When asked about his choice of dress, the actor stated that he wanted to take a more traditional route. He wanted to showcase his Pakistani heritage on such a massive platform.
He went on to further tell the Hollywood Reporter that he wanted his red carpet look to match his superhero outfit in the film. The actor said that he was adamant about wanting a designer from Pakistan to create his red carpet attire.
The upcoming film is just another milestone in the actor’s long illustrious career in Hollywood. Kumail Nanjiani started his Hollywood career with the HBO comedy series ‘Silicon Valley’
He has since go on to star in many other blockbusters in Hollywood such as ‘The Big Sick’, ‘Stuber’ and ‘The Lovebirds’.
His inclusion in the film makes him the first ever Pakistani actor to star in a Marvel franchise film. This news helps to further establish him as one of the greatest stars from Pakistan to make it big in tinsel town.
