Kurkure’s Toofaani Mirch Campaign
Kurkure is promoting their new product, "Toofaani Mirch". Their campaign features renowned Pakistani celebrities. Here's all you need to know about it.
Recently Instagram has been filled with the hashtag ToofaniMirch. For those of you who don’t know what Toofani Mirch is, its Kurkure’s new addition to its chips flavours. To promote their new product, they started a promotional campaign.
The campaign involves episodes and each episode will feature one famous Pakistani celebrity. Up til now only 2 episodes have been released.
The first episode of Kurkure’s campaign featured Ahmed Ali Akbar. The 2-minute episode includes Kurkure setting “Toofani sawaal” to which Ahmed has to give “Karakydar jawab”. He is asked questions regarding his favourite co-stars, rating a few celebrities based on their talent, and also matching his female co-stars against Kurkure flavours. He even does an impression of Hamza Ali Abbasi.
The second episode was posted on Kurkure’s Instagram yesterday and featured Aima Baig. In this 3-minute long episode, the actress answered “Toofani” questions which included questions about her love life, things that make her jealous and even addressed rumours. When she was asked who she wishes to have not met, she left the viewers thinking after leaving the question unanswered.
A post before the episodes began airing, revealed all the celebrities that will be featured in the upcoming episodes. This created a lot of hype as fans enthusiastically await the upcoming episodes that will feature their favourite actors and actresses. The list includes the aforementioned, Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, Zara Noor Abbas, Hania Aamir, Osman Khalid Butt, Iqra Aziz, Muneeb Butt and Aiman Khan.

Kurkure is also providing free delivery of their new product. This is an interesting marketing strategy as featuring celebrities in campaigns always enhances the reach and expands the views and interactions.
