Mahira Khan Plans on Making a Comeback to TV
Famous Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan, recalls her times on the TV screen and claims that she misses being on TV and might just return.
Celebrating 16 years of the Hum Network, Mahira Khan, who is now a renowned movie star stated that she clearly remembers her TV acting times.
From her characters as Khirad in Humsafar or Shanno in Sadqay Tumharay, Mahira Khan has proved to us countless times that she is a phenomenal actor whether it is on the small screen (TV) or on the silver screen.
In an interview, celebrating Hum’s 16 years of excellence, Mahira Khan, looks back at her TV acting career which will also be completing a decade this year. She talked about how she had the time to read multiple new scripts during her quarantine.
Mahira Khan was recently diagnosed with coronavirus, and she spoke about her time in isolation, “I had it really bad,” she revealed, adding that the good thing was getting the time to read new scripts for TV.
“I want to come back to dramas. It’s truly been magical for me with Hum TV. Humsafar is why I continue to receive so much love in my personal life and in my career,” Mahira Khan said. “2021 will be ten years to Humsafar and that’s how long my journey has been as an actor.”
Furthermore, she talked about how her experience with Hum has been delightful. Mahira Khan further went on recalling moments from her sets, where she spoke about how Bin Roye and Superstar were set where they often got scolded, getting exhausted of the heat and the general chaos that breaks out on sets, however, it was an enjoyable time and she mentioned how she cherishes it all.
When inquired who her favorite co-star was, Mahira Khan, claimed that of course, it was Humayun Saeed and Fawad Khan.
Moreover, celebrating Hum TV’s 16 years along with Mahira Khan was Bushra Ansari, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Farhan Saeed, and Ali Zafar on a virtual call (like Mahira), as well as Ahmed Ali Butt who was hosting the festivities.
