Deputy CEO Ariful Islam

According to Deputy CEO Ariful Islam, while they have issued guidelines in the past, the implementation is not as strong as it should be.

“We have issued various instructions and guidelines to staff from time to time on the precautions that must be adopted to ensure that the virus does not spread. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts it has been observed that staff at all levels are not following these instructions.”

Meezan Bank’s step to ask employees to wear masks or donate cash is a good way to curtail the spreading of COVID-19, as currency can spread the virus if someone who is infected uses it. Many of the cases are asymptomatic, and do not even know that they have COVID-19. We wish that people stay safe and happy during this dire situation.
