By October 2020, earlier this year, The LUX Style Awards management (LSAs) announced their nominations for the 19th annual award show. It was decided that the ceremony will be held virtually, like every other event, and Mehwish Hayat and Ahmed Ali Butt will be hosting it.
Moreover, the LUX Style Awards collaborated with the Akhuwat Foundation to support the industry and the people of the industry who have suffered during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the LSAs selected their nominees online and also announced the list of winners online, earlier this month.
Recently, they have also announced the dates for the virtual event. The 19th LSAs will be taking place on 31st December, and shall be hosted by Mehwish Hayat and Ahmed Ali Butt.
Mehwish Hayat took to her Instagram and announced that she and Ahmed Ali Butt will be hosting the 19th LSAs. “The 19th Lux Style Awards are here! A virtual extravaganza hosted by yours truly and my favorite co-host, Ahmed Ali Butt!” said Mehwish. “We can’t wait to make it an entertaining night for you guys!” followed by a heart emoticon.
Moreover, her co-host, Ahmed Ali Butt also posted saying, “Humbled and honored to host the 19th LSAs once again, this time with the beautiful Mehwish Hayat.” He further said, “This night where the stars shine, only this time from the comfort of their homes.”
