Naila Kiani, a Pakistani Mountaineer, Is Planning to Conquer Mount Everest

Shehroze Kashif and Naila Kiani intend to climb Mount Everest, the tallest mountain on the earth, in the first week of April.

The Pakistani mountaineers, Mrs Naila Kiani and Shehroze Kashif plan to scale Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. Shehroze, who is already in Nepal, became the world’s youngest
mountaineer to summit K2 at the age of 17, while Naila plans to be in Nepal in the first week of April for two expeditions.

In a recent media interaction, Shehroze expressed his optimism and readiness to summit the peak, given favourable weather and conditions. He highlighted the lack of infrastructure and facilities required by mountaineers in Pakistan, compared to Nepal, which has developed far better facilities for mountaineering.

Naila Kiani, a Dubai-based banker, became the first Pakistani woman to scale K2 on her first attempt and plans to scale Mount Everest in mid-April. Despite facing challenges related to financing during her early days of scaling, she is now settled and has the support of the BARD Foundation, which is sponsoring her expedition.

Both Naila and Shehroze emphasized the need for authorities like the government of Pakistan and the Alpine Club of Pakistan to come up with a comprehensive plan to attract more climbers and tourists and use it as a resource to bring foreign exchange.

Mrs Naila Kiani, a record-holding mountaineer from Pakistan, is all set to scale Mount Everest, the
highest peak in the world, with the support of the BARD Foundation sponsoring her expedition. In a
recent media interaction, Naila shared her optimism to add more achievements to her credit, while also highlighting the need for better facilities and infrastructure for mountaineers in Pakistan.

Joining Naila on her journey is a team of sponsors and branding partners who have shown
overwhelming support for her accomplishments. “We are thrilled to be associated with a woman of
substance who is defying all odds and continuing to summit the biggest peaks in the world,” said Abbas Rahim, business director at The Blue Dot, the agency that manages Naila Kiani’s branding and
partnership rights.

“Being a woman, it is inspiring to be attached to Naila’s journey. She embodies the spirit we women carry to excel at any height,” added Maira Khan, business manager at The Blue Dot.

As Naila prepares for her expedition, the world eagerly awaits updates on her progress. Runway will
keep you posted on her whereabouts and cover her journey, bringing exciting and inspiring news from
