NASA Confirms Vikram Moon Landing

About a couple of months ago India's moon lander, Vikram, had to land on Moon, but wasn't able to. Here is what happened.

India was looking forward to land on moon in July. However, they were close, yet so far. When it was about to land, a news circulated the internet and the Indian Media, that the mission had failed. The lander, Vikram, was an unmanned lander. India was going to be the fourth country after US, Russia and China to land there.

A moon orbiting spacecraft dropped Vikram to the surface. According to the schedule, it had to reach the surface in five days. As per the reports given by NASA, the probe stopped responding around 2.1 KM from the surface. The confirmation was given by NASA after a IT professional from Chennai put his heart in to finding the proof for this happening. He had this curiosity after he saw NASA not being able to find the proofs on its own. According to him, “I had side-by-side comparison of those two images on two of my laptops… on one side there was the old image, and another side there was the new image released by NASA,” he said.

NASA on the other hand, took the information and worked on the smallest possible details on Vikram. Subramanian, the IT Champ, told he had to be 100% sure before anything, just like NASA, because that is how it goes before public.

There were many people who criticized India because of their failed landing, however, one must appreciate what is to be appreciated. They did their best and they did what most of the countries weren’t able to do. They tried, and they failed, but not miserably.

As a country, Pakistan should also move past cultural and religious differences and should focus more on technology. Because Pakistan holds more talent than many other countries.
