Netflix’s ‘You’ Season 2 Is On Its Way Now

'You' Season 2 Is coming soon on Netflix and Penn Badgley Called It "Nauseating”

You was once a failed Lifetime show that made its way to Netflix where it soared to new heights

Penn Badgley plays a sadistic sociopath with striking ease and kind of makes you fear for your life.
You followed the story of Joe and Beck, two pretty college-aged people living in New York City. But there was more lurking under the surface than a typical love story.

At first Joe, played by ‘Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgely, seemed like the perfect guy.
He was smart, caring, funny, and considerate — but soon Beck learned the truth, and realized that Joe was stalking her, her friends, and her family.
Joe murdered no less than three people (and kidnapped two of them) during the run of the first season, and the season finale shocked everyone. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

Beck had almost escaped.
Just when it looked like Beck was about to be free of Joe’s terror and influence, the little boy Joe had been grooming to follow in his footsteps betrayed her, and in a shocking move, Joe murdered her and framed her therapist.

Fans didn’t know what to expect next.
Killing off its main character was a bold move for the Netflix show and had many people wondering if there would be a follow up season, and what that season would be about. Joe trying to get away from police suspicion? Joe having a new obsession?
We’ll find out soon!
Despite his murderous tendencies, people online were really into Joe. Maybe it’s Penn Badgely’s dreamy good looks, but the actor himself was having NONE of it, and frequently responded to tweets about Joe’s desirability negatively.
He even gave this little hint away about Season 2.

It looks like Penn is on a mission to make sure people know Joe is a bad guy that they definitely do NOT want to be involved with, and Season 2 is going to help him do it.
Good news for him, and for us, because…
‘You’ Season Two is on the way.
Except no one knows the release date just yet.
But we do know that things are about to get even more intense
Recently, Penn Badgley spoke to ET about the new season.
“There are some things I’ve done with prosthetic bodies in this new season that were kind of nauseating as I did them, I will say that,” he said
