Olivia Rodrigo Is Time Magazine’s Entertainer Of The Year
The teen pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has earned the prestigious honor of being named Time Magazine's Entertainer Of The Year.
Olivia Rodrigo has had quite a breakthrough year. She started of the year topping the charts with her debut smash hit “Drivers License”. She later went on to deliver another chartbuster in the form of “Good 4 U”.
Her catchy pop tunes became instant classics and has garnered her worldwide acclaim. Olivia Rodrigo’s success has earned her seven Grammy nominations. In addition, her absolute bangers have made her one of Spotify’s most streamed artists this year.
Now, at the age of just 18, Olivia Rodrigo has earned another honorable title. That of being named Time Magazine’s Entertainer Of The Year.
In their latest edition, Time Magazine highlight the singer’s journey from humble beginnings to stardom. In the article, they highlight how at the age of 16 she landed a role in the Disney+ show “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”.
They also highlighted her signing a record deal with Geffen Records as opposed to Hollywood Records. The latter being known for launching many Disney teen icons such as Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus.
Her debut album “Sour” was released under Geffen Records and went on to be number one in the United States. We hope that more success comes Rodrigo’ way and that she wins lots of awards at next year’s Grammy Awards.
