P.F. Chang’s Karachi Review

P.F. Chang's just opened in Karachi and the hype is worth it. This Asian-American restaurant got a lot of fame all over the world and now it's finally here.

P.F. Chang’s just opened in Karachi and the hype is worth it. This restaurant got a lot of fame all over the world and now it’s here in Karachi, Pakistan. There were rumours which we casually brushed off because it didn’t seem real, but it happened! The whole world knows how good their food is and we couldn’t stop ourselves from trying out the food here. It was delicious and one of its kind.

Here’s what we ordered at P.F. Chang’s and we hope to see you enjoying their food once you read our review.

Hot & Sour Soup

The hot & sour soup was well balanced. It had the perfect amount of spices, which means that if you had it with no additional spices, then you’d still love it. It had chicken, tofu, bamboo and mushrooms. There were three other sauces along with the soup that they served. Two of the three sauces were a bit too spicy for our liking, and the third one was mild. These sauces were there to compliment the soup’s flavour and enhance it.
Overall, I’d give it 8/10.P. F. Chang's Hot n Sour Soup

The Original Dynamite Shrimp

The dynamite shrimps was a familiar flavour. We’ve had it here in Karachi at different places. It wasn’t different, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. The flavour was spot on and if you’re a seafood lover, then you’ll love these. It’s the perfect starter, a tad bit spicy than the regular Chinese flavours hence, it was tantalizing for my tastebuds.
I’d give it 9/10.

Dali Chicken

Well, I’m not really a fan of sweet flavours that’s why I tried to opt for more spicy dishes from every section. The Dali Chicken was well cooked, very soft and tender stir-fried chicken. It was full of flavour and I loved every bit of this dish. I would recommend this to every chicken lover. The quantity was amazing because it was more than enough for two people. We were served a complimentary bowl of rice with this dish.
I’d rate this as 9/10

Mongolian Beef

I’m not really a fan of beef but I won’t let that come in between the review. This dish was more sweeter than the other dishes that we had tried. It was the perfect combination of sweet and savoury; both the flavors were mingling with each other but it was lip-smacking good. The beef was cooked to perfection as it was juicy and succulent and it was topped off with their signature dark sauce. It added more flavour to the dish and brought everything together, like a perfect blend of flavours. We were served a complimentary bowl of rice with this dish.
I’d give it 10/10.

Strawberry Citrus

If you love berries, then you need to try out this drink. I loved it because it had strawberries, mint, lemon, lime and a hint of blueberry. All mixed up into a perfect and yummy concoction that tasted just as good as it looked.
I’d give it 10/10.

Asian Pear Mojito

This one was good too. I really liked it’s sweet and minty flavour. I could taste the pineapple and apple flavours which were blended in to create this drink. A must-try for everyone if you ever visit P. F. Chang’s.
I’d rate it 8/10.

Chocolate Dome

They had amazing desserts. If you have a sweet tooth, then you’ll definitely want to visit and try out their scrumptious desserts. The chocolate dome didn’t look that tempting but tasted heavenly. Coconut shredded and mixed with white chocolate that was covered with a layer of milk chocolate and then finally a layer of dark chocolate. It was the ultimate chocolate dessert that you’d want after any meal.
I’d rate it 8/10.

The overall experience at P.F. Chang’s was definitely different from the usual restaurants. It’s Asian-American food which is something that we’ve had before, so we’re used to it. The prices were a bit on the higher side but I can’t complain much because it was worth it. Also, P.F. Chang’s is a franchise of a very famous restaurant that is present all over the world.
