Quantico, an american crime series starring Priyanka Chopra has recently aired an episode which caused an uproar in the Indian masses.The episode showed Indian nationalists trying to frame Pakistanis for a crime they had comitted.

Indians began calling her a traitor and protests took place which included banners that were set on fire stating “Send her back to Pakistan”.
Quanticos ratings have dropped greatly aswell:

Following this outrage a public apology was made by ABC studios and Priyanka Chopra,Pakistanis have also began to speak about this as the apology was issued.
I’m extremely saddened and sorry that some sentiments have been hurt by a recent episode of Quantico. That was not and would never be my intention. I sincerely apologise. I’m a proud Indian and that will never change.
