Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz are set to appear in a Zee5 web series
This will be the first time both actors star opposite one another.
Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz will be starring in an upcoming Pakistani web series titled “Mrs. and Mr. Shameem”.
The show is directed by Kashif Nisar while Saji Gul is the main writer of the web series. Nisar has directed several drama serials such as “Dumpukht”, “Atish-E-Ishq” and “O Rangreza”.
The web series which was previously titled “Mann Jogi” will be premiering on the Indian web platform Zee5.
Based on initial reports, “Mrs. and Mr. Shameem” will center around the lives of a married couple. It will highlight their journey of love, friendship and growing up old together.
When discussing the web series, the makers of “Mrs. and Mr. Shameem” had this to say;
“It is a true reflection of the story and depicts a changing outlook among society — one in which the woman plays an equally significant role in a relationship. Saba and Nauman have done a fantastic job of bringing the characters Mrs. and Mr. Shameem to life.”
While the release date is yet not announced, it is safe to say that this web series does seem promising.
Both Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz are exceptionally talented performers and have given tremendous performances in the past.
We are hoping that they are able to deliver tremendous performances in “Mrs. and Mr. Shameem”.
We are also hopeful that the show delivers on the same level as other Pakistani shows from Zee5 such as “Churails”.
