Shadab Khan is Getting Ready To Tie The Knot

Shadab Khan announced his nikah with Saqlain Mushtaq's daughter, and he clarified that he had chosen to keep it a secret out of respect for his new wife.

You would be in for a big surprise if you assumed that the cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, and Haris Rauf were the only players tying the knot this winter. All-rounder Shadab Khan announced on Instagram that he wed in a nikah ceremony on Monday, adding another cricketer to the roster of eligible bachelors. Did we anticipate this one? No way.

The cricketer announced on Instagram and Twitter that he had his nikah on Monday, a momentous occasion that marked the start of a brand-new chapter in his life. “Please respect my choices and those of my wife and our families. Prayers and love for all,” Khan remarked while requesting solitude.

He said in his announcement, “I am becoming part of my mentor Saqi Bhai’s [Saqlain Mushtaq’s] family. When I started playing cricket, I wanted to keep my family life separate, and my family has also opted to stay out of the public light. My wife has asked for the same, she wants her life to remain private.”

He asked his fans once more to respect the decisions made by his family, his wife, and themselves. Khan made a joke about being able to send the account number to anyone who wanted to send salami.

Under his Instagram post, Khan received congratulations from Erin Holland, who is hosting the Pakistan Super League (PSL), tennis player Sania Mirza, actresses Asad Siddiqui and Ushna Shah, and South African cricketer Tabraiz Shamsi.

In reaction to Khan’s tweet, cricketers also stopped by to offer their congratulations. In jest, Imam-ul-Haq expressed concern for Khan’s wife and prayed that she would have the fortitude to put up with him.

Hassan Ali also greeted his friend and wished him continued joy and happiness.

Under Khan’s tweet, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, and Muhammad Nawaz all expressed their congratulations.

The official Twitter account of Khan’s PSL team, Islamabad United, also praised him and urged the captain to treat the entire squad well.

Afridi is scheduled to marry Ansha, Shahid Afridi’s second daughter, on February 3, following the nuptials of Rauf, Masood, and now Khan. According to a source close to the Afridi family, Shaheen and Ansha’s nikah will take place in Karachi on February 3 before the start of the upcoming PSL season.
