Singer, songwriter and composer who is carrying forward the legacy of the esteemed Patiala gharana lineage is all set to release a brand new single ‘Samajh Na Aavy’. He took to Instagram to share the news with his fans. The song is Shafqat Amanat Ali’s own composition and the lyrics are by him. Directed by Asif Masood, the song is all set to be out on 10th October 2017. Are you guys excited?
The classical singer hardly spilled out any details about the song. “I love the beat of the song and look forward to your (read: fans) feedback”, said the singer in a video he shared on his Instagram.
Born to famed classical and ghazal singer, Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali started off quite early and his classical training began at the age of three. He rose to immense fame because of his band ‘Fuzon’ which successfully fused classical music with rock, for which he was the frontman. His music not only fared locally but bloomed across the border as well. With famous Bollywood hits in his bag, Shafqat Amanat Ali also featured in Coke Studio.
