Shamoon Ismail’s New Song on the Twitter Backlash

The song starts with the verses "Mein label te nae jaanda, teri cable te nae aanda," and that reminds us of his deleted tweet after his apology

The Taare singer recently faced backlash by people on social media for his tweet; many people had perceived it as racist and wanted him to apologise. However, when he did apologise for possibly hurting the readers, many condemned him for not actually apologising. Since then, he has reacted to the whole debacle over his apology and told them that he is only answerable to God.

Shamoon Ismail has also released a new song called Rok Le, which has lyrics that hints at the backlash he received on Twitter. The song starts with the verses “Mein label te nae jaanda, teri cable te nae aanda,” and that reminds us of his deleted tweet after his apology:

“I have corrected myself to set an example cause people look up to me and I am answerable to a higher authority. Not because I am scared of a bunch and getting canceled. I am not pushed on your TV or radio or on a subscription that’s paid for. I don’t owe anyone anything.”

Listen to the track below and let us know if you think if Shamoon Ismail produced this song to deal with the backlash on Twitter.
