Sheikh Rashid’s Health Recovering Rapidly
On June 13, Sheikh Rashid had gone to CMH for a medical check up - any rumors that say his health is deteriorating is false.
On June 8, the Federal Minister of Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was tested positive for COVID-19. His nephew, the Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Narcotics Control Sheikh Rashid Shafique, stated that the federal minister had been shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for medical check up on June 13. Since then, false rumors of Sheikh Rashid’s health have been spreading.
Sheikh Rashid had just gone to CMH for a medical check up due to some issues with his lungs, and the doctors had advised him to remain in the hospital for a few days.
So far, the federal minister has not shown any symptom of COVID-19 such as fever, cough and tiredness. Furthermore, all of his staff at Lal Haveli (Sheikh Rashid’s political office), along with his family members, had been tested; all the results had come out negative.
