Chicken Chow mein is loved by all and a dish that can never go wrong. For a noodle lover, this is heaven and a must for those Chinese takeout days. So here is quite an easy recipe for everyone’s favourite Slow cooker chow mein which you can make at home.

1. 250ml (1 cup) Massel Chicken Style Liquid Stock
How to prepare chicken chow mein
Step 1: In a slow cooker, combine stock, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Combine the onion, carrot, and chicken. Boil for five hours on Minimal, flipping the chicken halfway through if feasible.
Step 2: Place the chicken on a cutting board after removing it from the slow cooker. Preheat the slow cooker to HIGH. Stir together the cornflour and 1 tablespoon of water until smooth. Stir into the slow cooker liquid. Cook for 15 minutes, covered.
Step 3: Meanwhile, cook the noodles for 3 minutes in a large pot of boiling water, adding the snow peas over the last 1 minute of slow cooking time. Wash and rinse with cold water. Place aside. Remove the chicken off the bone using a fork.
Step 4: In the slow cooker, combine the chicken, noodles, snow peas, and corn. To mix, toss with tongs.
Step 5: To serve, garnish the chow mein with coriander.
