Studio Ghibli Movies Can Be Streamed on Netflix
Studio Ghibli, a Japanese film studio that creates anime-style movies, has partnered up with Netflix to stream its 21 movies globally.
If you’re a 90s baby, then you’ve definitely watched most of the Studio Ghibli movies. It’s a Japanese animation studio that creates these amazing anime-style movies. They were quite popular back in the day when there weren’t a lot of animators because they’ve been in the market since 1985. They have made many short films, commercials and television films that have won numerous awards.
The good news for fans is that now you can stream all your favorite Studio Ghibli movies on Netflix. Netflix will be streaming all 21 movies which will be available to watch in these regions “Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.” Yes, that means it won’t be available to stream in the US.
Netflix tweeted:
“From February 2020, 21 films from the legendary animation house Studio Ghibli are coming exclusively to Netflix. We’re proud to bring beloved, influential stories like Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and My Neighbour Totoro to first-time viewers and high-flying fans alike.”

People have been ecstatic about this release because it has movies that are majorly adored all over the world. The 21 films won’t be released altogether, that’s the only sad part. Few will be available from February, some from March and the rest will be available to watch from April.
