Taylor Swift Takes Home Several VMAs and Announces New Album

Taylor Swift bagged the most prestigious award at VMA 2022 along with two more. Harry Styles also took home three awards for "As It Was".

Taylor Swift took the highest title and a few others at MTV’s yearly VMAs (Video Music Awards) on Sunday for a ten-minute rendition of the 2012 classic song ‘All Too Well,’ and she also made an unexpected disclosure about an upcoming album due in October.

The diva greeted supporters from the platform of the New Jersey Prudential Center as she collected her 14th VMA. Taylor  Swift recorded ‘All Too Well,’ again from one of her previous songs, following a disagreement with her old music label.

While accepting the award, Taylor Swift said she couldn’t have made this little video without her fans added before confirming that her new album is coming on October 21.

Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, titled Midnights, will depict the story of “13 sleepless nights” spread across her life, Swift stated in a tweet following her triumph.

Swift won three awards, including Best Direction, Video of the Year, and Best Long-form Video, while Harry Styles won Album of The Year, Best Pop, and Best Cinematography. BTS also won Group of the Year, a title the group have won consecutively for the last 4 years.
