Teacher in Sadiqabad Held For Throwing Acid on Children
Osama, a Holy Quran teacher in Sadiqabad, threw acid on four children on July 14. The police arrested Osama on the complaint of Riaz Hussain, one of the fathers.
Osama, a Holy Quran teacher in Sadiqabad, threw acid on four children (one of whom was a guest in the area) that were his students on July 14. The police arrested Osama on the complaint of Riaz Hussain of Haq Town, who is the father of one of the children attacked.
Allegedly, the students informed the parents when Osama tried to develop relationships with them, which is when the parents fired Osama from teaching the children the Holy Quran in their locality in Sadiqabad.
It was while the children were playing on the streets in Sadiqabad on Tuesday that their former teacher Osama came up to them and threw acid on them. The complainant, Riaz, claimed that as soon as the incident happened, he called 15 and 1122, leading the kids to be taken to the Sadiqabad THQ Hospital.
Osama has been arrested and the police will be investigating the case, according to the police’s spokesperson Ahmed Nawaz Cheema.
