He spies on the supposed Death Eater throughout the year and in the process learns new spells thanks to a beat down copy of his potions book, found in his classroom cupboard. Inside which states that it belonged to the half-blood prince.
The Boy Who Lived explores Lord Voldemort’s past, learning his darkest secret: his immortality. “Because to confide a part of your soul to something that can think and move for itself is obviously a very risky business.”
Other than the dark magic that has made its way into Hogwarts, the only conformity at the school is Ron and Hermione’s constant banter over Ron’s emotional range while something sparks between Harry and Ginny Weasley.
“But you’ve been too busy saving the Wizarding world. Well, I can’t say I’m surprised. I knew this would happen in the end. I knew you wouldn’t be happy unless you were hunting Voldemort.”
