Virtual Fashion Show by Catwalk for Frontline Workers
Around 16 to 20 fashion designers will be showing their collections, and each designer will be donating one outfit and accessory to the frontline workers for Eid.
Fashion Icon Frieha Altaf has announced that Catwalk Event Management and Production will be hosting a virtual fashion show, called Catwalk Cares, to pay tribute to the frontline workers. Around 16 to 20 fashion designers will be showing their collections, and each designer will be donating one outfit and accessory to the frontline workers, who are working towards keeping the people of the nation safe, for Eid.
Which designers are taking part in Catwalk Cares?
Faraz Manan, Shehla Chatoor, Chapter 2, Maheen Karim, Elan, Generation, Nomi Ansari, HSY, Republic by Omar Farooq, Ali Xeeshan, Ismail farid, Shamaeel Ansari, Asim Jofa, Fnk Asia, Sonya Battla and Amir Adnan are on board. Catwalk will be partnering with Studio by TCS for delivering the outfits and accessories to the frontline workers, while Nabila will be the Styling Partner for the virtual fashion show Catwalk Cares.
How will the Virtual Fashion Show be streamed?
Each designer will choose a top model, who will then be styled by Nabila at their home. Afterwards, these models will make videos with the designer outfit. The videos will be later on edited to be included in the live streaming for Eid ul Fitr.
We hope that initiatives, such as the virtual fashion show Catwalk Cares, are praised and continued, as frontline workers deserve all the support and respect for the work they are doing by risking their lives every day. Many designers also stitched protective gear during the pandemic to show their support.
