Deepak Perwani & Others Also Stitch Protective Suits
Asim Jofa, the designer who started this initiative has made others join the bandwagon too that includes Deepak Perwani, Shaniera Akram, Yasir Hussain, Iqra Aziz and Sonya Hussayn!
Realizing the need of the hour, Deepak Perwani has also announced to design and stitch protective suits. Deepak Perwani is one of the most esteemed designers of Pakistan, who has also explored the field of acting. He has his own clothing line which has been showcased at many runways for quite a few decades now.
Deepak made the announcement on Instagram while showing his prototype worn by his workers for testing purposes. He made different prototypes that were washable/reusable and also disposable ones. The caption read:
“Our prototypes are finally ready for approval. The first look for PPE both washable/reusable & disposable! #Deepakperwanicares”

The reason why the title says ‘also’ is because Asim Jofa started this initiative. He was the first designer to come up on mainstream media with this idea. He designed and created his prototypes within two days which were approved by medical experts. He also received massive appreciation and respect from everyone on the internet. Asim Jofa also started a campaign called ‘#AsimJofaCares’, where he appreciates others who have joined hands for the initiative and also continues to spread awareness.

Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz have also joined in and are stitching suits. By now we all know Iqra Aziz is a master of many skills which also includes stitching as she has previously stitched a kurta for Yasir. They can be seen stitching protective suits in the following video:
