Waqar Zaka: A Blessing in Disguise?
Pakistan's prevalent issues have left us in dismay, the need for an efficient role model is imminent. Could Waqar Zaka be fulfilling that position?
Over the years, we’ve known Waqar Zaka as a famous VJ recognized for his infamous show “Living on the Edge” aired on ARY. He had been quite the controversial figure in Pakistan for a long time and due to several reasons, however, never has he been out of the spotlight whether good or bad; the man has our attention!
Recently, Waqar Zaka is being recognized as a social media influencer/content producer and more importantly, a social media activist. It is safe to say that the man has probably worked more for Pakistan over the few months than the entire state management combined.

The saying that ‘people will genuinely surprise you’ is perfectly applicable here, we believe Waqar Zaka is exactly what Pakistan needs in today’s world! Time and time again, he has proven himself to have Pakistan’s best interests at heart. He documented his efforts to provide relief to the children in Syria and Burma. While also making several visits to Tharparkar and showing people the reality of the place and its people which the media never seems to cover. We do not remember anyone else going to such great lengths in recent times to protect human rights or provide relief and shelter to those in need.
The Process of Lodging a Complaint on Relevant Channels:
Moreover, Waqar Zaka is most prominently known for his call-out tendencies, and rightfully so, call-out culture is a necessity in today’s world. To be heard, you must name and shame. Zaka doesn’t seem to shy down from doing exactly that; he has been very vocal about the problems in our system and within the democrats themselves. This is why he figured to take matters into his own hands and began offering help through his personal social media platforms such as his Facebook LIVE Videos in an attempt to educate those who are unaware of their rights or in need help.
Through several LIVE videos, he taught his audience how to register complaints on the CPLC portal, especially females; he encouraged women to actively call out and complain against cyberbullying or harassment of any sort by uploading many videos explaining the process. Similarly, in light of recent events, such as the Nida Yasir interview; Waqar Zaka also made a video upon that explaining how a normal civilian’s complaint can make a huge difference. He urged the people to file a complaint in PEMRA against any content which is insensitive, offensive or just conveys the wrong message.

Introducing The Concept of Cryptocurrency:
Furthermore, what he is most commonly known for is advocating the use of cryptocurrency in Pakistan. Waqar Zaka has been extremely open with the public about the use of cryptocurrency and its importance in Pakistan, he encouraged multiple people to try the method themselves and educate others. He claimed that this would be a great alternative to boost the economy and generate cash flow as well as raise people’s real incomes. However, soon after, the cryptocurrency was banned in Pakistan.
In all honesty, we have nothing negative to say about Mr. Waqar Zaka; he has been nothing but a great help to this country and the people in recent times. His countless efforts can be seen in this article and all over social media, he has been giving his all to the country and its people for a brighter future! It is refreshing to see influential people use their fame and power for the right reasons, to promote the right message instead of taking advantage of it!
