2018 Makeup Faves – Products You Need To Check Out!

Being a makeup addict, I love experimenting with different products and finding out which ones i love and which ones don’t work for me. 2018 is over and that calls for some makeup faves! These are products I swore by in the last year and would 100% recommend you to give them a go.

Here is my list:

NYX Total Control Drops Foundation

I feel like this foundation is very underrated and a lot of people don’t know about it. It comes in a cute little bottle and give you total control on the amount of coverage you want. It’s easily buildable and gives a very flawless finish. The only downfall is the quantity; it’s very less and I’m almost out of it.

Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Liquid Starlight

Highlighter is like the favorite part of my makeup routine so I go all out in that department. I’ve used plenty of highlighters but this one is something I am obsessed with. I was first a bit afraid of using it since it was so blinding but then once I figured out how to apply it, everything fell into place. Since it’s a liquid highlight, you want just a tiny bit of it on your face and blend it out using tap motion. I feel that tapping it with your finger works out the best.

MUA Pressed Powder

I reach for pressed powder every single day, so I run out of them pretty fast. I was looking for a cheap one that does the job well so when I got my hands on this one 2 years ago, I was hooked. It literally costs like Rs. 400 and locks in my makeup while being super light weight.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

If there was a ride or die product, it would be this one. Affordable and amazing coverage; what else do you want? I’m pretty sure a lot of you swear by this product, so lets not get into too much detail here.

Makeup Revolution Brow Pomade

I’ve always wanted to get my hands on the ABH brow pomade but when I found out that this was actually a dupe of that, I was excited to give it a go. It’s long lasting, pigmented, creamy and looks amazing on the brows.

Beautify by Amna Porfade Primer

Every blogger on social media talked about this primer and I fell in that trap (which I’m totally happy out!). This primer blurs out your pores and really holds your makeup in place. Definite try!

Colourpop Liquid lipstick in Calypso

Colourpop lipsticks are my favorite (I literally have so many) but this shade is something I usually reach for. Calypso is from their “Ultra Satin Lip” collection, which means it doesn’t dry out to a matte finish. The color is so pretty and goes with all my outfits and makeup looks. If there was one colourpop shade you want to try, give this one a go.

I’m excited for 2019 and all the new makeup I would try. I’m especially eyeing these 2 highlighters, hopefully I can get my hands on them pretty soon. What have been your favorites for 2018? Let me know in the comments down below!
