A War is Brewing Over The New Song Zaalima Coca Cola
A new war is brewing between Pakistan and India over a remake of the song Zaalima Coca Cola. Pakistanis have a lot to say about this.
The song “Zaalima Coca Cola” third remake has taken the internet by storm with securing over 10 million views in just one day. Not only that but Pakistani and Indians are yet again at war on Twitter.
Zaalima Coca Cola is originally a song sung by Pakistani legend, Noor Jehan, back in 1986 for a Pakistani Punjabi film named “Chan TeSoorma”. In 2016, Meesha Shafi and Umair Jaswal, Pakistani artists, made a remake of this song for a Coca-Cola commercial.
On July 28th, a third remake of “Zaalima Coca Cola” was released. This remake featuring Nora Fatehi is sung by Shreya Ghoshal, for the movie “Bhuj: The Pride of India”. This movie is based on the war of 1971, between Pakistan and India, featuring Ajay Devgan as the lead. The trailer clearly depicts the movie as anti-Pakistani and paints a negative picture of the country.
Credit was given to the Pakistani legend, Noor Jehan, in the description box of the third remake of “Zaalima Coca Cola’s” music video.
However, this did not stop Pakistanis from standing up against the song’s remake. Many people have commented on the audacity of Bollywood to use the famous Pakistani song, “Zaalima Coca Cola”, for an anti-Pakistani film.

Although most Indians are praising the song on Twitter some are not impressed by the third remake of the song “Zaalima Coca Cola”.
#ZaalimaCocaCola is UNBEARABLE… Terrible song… Poor lyrics, Bad music, mixture of 3-4 songs…. Initial tune copied from Shaheen Bagh Protest song "Hum Ladenge Ladenge"…..
This song doesn’t fit for a high standard film like #BhujThePrideOfIndia, absolutely horrible #AjayDevgn
