It seems that Asim Azhar’s hit song from 2018 Jo Tu Na Mila has allegedly ripped off from the song A Town With An Ocean View from 1989 animated feature film Kiki’s Delivery Service, a Studio Ghibli production. The song A Town With An Ocean View is originally composed by Mamoru Fujisawa, known professionally as Joe Hisaishi.
Jo Tu Na Mila had recently crossed the 100 million views mark on YouTube in May 202, making Asim the youngest and 4th Pakistani to have to have achieved that! Others include Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam and Momina Mustehsan.

However, since then, a Facebook post brought forth the comparison between A Town With An Ocean View and Jo Tu Na Mila has made us question whether Asim Azhar ripped off the Studio Ghibli production or not.
