Big Boss Host, Salman Khan Slams Rumors
As fans wait for Season 14 of the reality TV show, host Salman Khan slams rumours about the show being scripted during a press conference.
The popular Indian reality TV show, Big Boss is set to air from October 3. Today, a press conference was held in honour of the launch of the new season. Fans are eagerly waiting for the new season however, long-standing rumours of the show being scripted re-surfaced. Renowned actor and also the host of the show, Salman Khan slammed these rumours during the press conference.
The superstar addressed these rumours by elaborating that the contestants are not permitted to leave the premises of the show until they are eliminated. “There is a misconception that contestants are allowed to come out of the house in between, that is not true. The contestant only leaves the house when they get eliminated. You cannot script anyone, neither Siddharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, Hina Khan or Gauahar Khan,” he added.
With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, theatres in India have been temporarily shut down, hence the nation that is so used to entertainment is craving it. This show will fill a huge void in the Indian citizen’s lives. With the announcement of this new Big Boss season, there is much excitement amongst fans of the show. However, due to the recent virus, Big Boss season 14 will be themed around lockdown. The team has assured that necessary precautions will be taken and directed SOPs will be followed.
Fueling the excitement of fans, Salman Khan added that the new season will have new additions such as theatres, malls and gyms and even a spa. A source added, “The celebrities have already started the self-quarantine process. They have been put up in different hotels so that they do not find out who their co-housemates are. They are also shooting for their reality videos and introductory performance for the premiere night. This season, there would be 12 contestants entering the house.”
The source also named a few people who are expected to be part of the house this season. These include actor Gia Manek, singer Rahul Vaidya and former Bigg Boss contestants like Sidharth Shukla, Gauhar Khan and Hina Khan.
