Careem’s First Baby – Fareeha

A passenger delivered her baby in a Careem while on her way to the hospital.

This week the renowned ride-hailing service, Careem saw its first ‘Careem baby’ in Pakistan. And her name is Fareeha.

Sibtain Hussain and his wife were headed to the hospital in a Careem, when due to unforeseen circumstances the wife gave birth in the car.

In an interview with the father, Hussain said that his friend has initially suggested that he take his wife in a Careem to the hospital, so that they are comfortable. And proceeded to order them a ride. Hussain was satisfied that they went comfortably, in an air-conditioned car – you’d understand his plight, the weather is unbearable. And also that the ride fare was cheaper than what he would have to pay otherwise.

Throughout the ride, it was said that safety teams guided the Captain in order to safely get the mother and child to the hospital. And safe to say, both are doing great!
