FocusPK19 Launches “Women in Focus” on National Women’s Day
Prestigious press conference held on National Womens Day in Pakistan
PAS 2017 award winner, FocusPK launched its much-awaited “Women In Focus” campaign/project at an event hosted at Sindh Governor House. The Honourable Governor Sindh, Imran Ismail was the Chief Guest. This high profile and well-attended event was hosted by Atiqa Odho, Chairperson FocusPK, while Misbah Khlaid, the well-known and successful television producer/director is the Project Head of this newly launched initiative.
Inspirational speakers at the event included Shazia Syed, Chairperson & CEO Unilever Pakistan, Seema Taher Khan, CEO Airwaves Media, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, CEO SocFilms, Seema Jaffer, CEO Bond Advertising & Bond PR, Saira Kazmi, renowned TV producer and director, Haseena Moin, acclaimed playwright, Amena Khan, CEO Dream Team Films, Shamaeel Ansari, entrepreneur and fashion designer and Nabila Maqsood, master stylist.
“Women In Focus” launch highlighted dynamic women leaders who have managed to scale great heights in a male-dominated industry and have helped break the glass ceiling for other women. Odho mentioned that the date of the event was carefully selected to coincide with “National Women’s Day” which is officially on 12th of February.
Other guests present included women from media and entertainment industry who are all high-achievers in their own right.
