Hassan Ahmed: Pakistan’s First Deaf Vlogger is Hosting His Own TV Show
In his attempts to represent the deaf community in mainstream media, Pakistan's first deaf vlogger, Hassan Ahmed is starting his own TV show.
Hassan Ahmed, Pakistan’s first deaf vlogger has made sure to use his platform to keep his deaf community up to date with everything happening around the world.
In light of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Hassan collaborated with deaftawk, becoming their brand ambassador. In his video, he educated the people of the deaf community about the safety measures in regards to the pandemic.
His vlogs include entertainment gigs, food reviews, shopping hauls and funny comic videos. His lighthearted content promotes inclusivity as he is out to represent a community that matters.
Now he is hosting his own TV show, Ishaaron ki Zuban with his sister. Hassan shared the news on his social media adding that the program will air on channel Kay2 every Saturday at 6 pm.

While there are several deaf vloggers around the world who have used their social media platforms to represent their deaf communities, this is a first for Pakistan. The deaf community is often neglected, however, with Hassan Ahmed’s tireless efforts to promote inclusivity, the community is hoping to attain a platform to be represented.
