Ideathon 2020 by Reads School & College
The concept behind Ideathon 2020 was to host an Entrepreneurship event bringing many ideas to the table and end with a mega concert for all the students.
Reads School & College organized Ideathon 2020 on 24th, 25th & 26th January 2020, which was a mega Entrepreneurship event. It was organized in collaboration with the Institute of Business Administration’s (IBA) Entrepreneurship society. The competition focused on developing leadership and entrepreneurship skills of the participants. Different schools, colleges and universities participated in the summit, which was indicative of the competition’s huge success.
Throughout the three days, innovative business ideas were pitched and marketing skills of the participants were polished. Professionals from the corporate sector, multinational banks and marketing agencies judged the different platforms that made up the event.
The closing ceremony of Ideathon 2020 was an auspicious gathering and the Chief guest was Alamgir Khan, a member of the National Assembly. The winners were awarded trophies and certificates were distributed among the participants.
The social event of the competition was held on 9th February at the Pavilion End Club with a musical performance by Kashmir the Band.
The opening of the night was done by Muhtasshim Hussain, a student of Reads School and College who gave an exciting rap performance. Then there was another performance by Ittefaq band from IBA. After that, a patriotic song was sung by Hamza J. Sheikh which united the crowd in once voice.
Finally came the performance by Kashmir the Band. The band stole the show with a stellar performance which swayed the crowds. It was an enthralling night where the students from all across Karachi swayed to the groovy beats and scintillating music. It was a full house and the band performed multiple songs with full participation from the crowd.
