Indian Films ban reduced by Pakistani Government

The decision ruled last week by the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage declared that the Bans on indian films will be imposed and remain present till two weeks after the Eid Holidays.It has now been reduced to just week one after Eid.

Danyal Gillani told IANS,On behalf of the  National History and Literary Heritage, Ministry of Information Broadcasting, the chairman of Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) , “Keeping in view the importance of local film industry and exhibition facilities, the government has decided that screening of Indian films shall be restricted for a period of one week in total, starting from Eid day – on both Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha.”

Many upcoming Indian movies have been on the watch-radar for many Pakistanis;such as Sanju,Race3,they will be thrilled to hear the ban has been reduced.
