Kevin Pietersen Slams Ahmed Shehzad Live

Yesterday, former English batsman Kevin Pietersen went live on Instagram with Quetta Gladiators’ Ahmed Shehzad. This turned out to be embarrassing for Shehzad, as the English cricketer questioned his performance in the recent Pakistan Super League (PSL) season.

As Shehzad began to defend his 61 runs in seven innings of PSL V by saying he tried his best, Pietersen slammed him.

“You are talking so much nonsense that it goes in one ear and out of the other, which is similar to what you did in the dressing room. You talk that much nonsense that we actually don’t know when to listen to you because you ramble too much.

Shezzy [Shehzad] I’m not a journalist. I’m your buddy so don’t talk to me like we are in a press conference. People want to know why you are not scoring runs and not that your tried so hard and played so nicely.”

Afterwards, Ahmed Shehzad defended himself further by stating that he was struggling to play at the number three position but was once again criticised by Pietersen:

“So you don’t want to bat one and two, can’t bat three, four and five. I think you should go and bat 13 for the Quetta Gladiators’ third team next season and not even the first team. Go and carry drinks,” said the former England captain.”

Previously, Quetta Gladiators’ owner laid the allegation against the PCB for treating them unfairly. The question rises whether the Gladiators had bad luck or are they completely out of form compared to other franchises?
