Mehwish Hayat and Samina Ahmed Starring In Ms Marvel?
At the premiere of the upcoming Sharmeen Obaid production of Ms Marvel, Mehwish Hayat and Samina Ahmed were spotted with the cast.
Ms Marvel stars Mehwish Hayat and Samina Ahmed! On Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles, California, when the stars and team of Ms Marvel presented their next programme, we saw the actresses on the red carpet. While the revealed cast drew everyone’s attention, we were more interested in Hayat, whose involvement and role in the series had been kept under wraps by Marvel.
Hayat was one of several Pakistanis who attended the event, dressed in a vivid cobalt blue dress with a black sequinned bodice. Hers, on the other hand, was a surprise appearance, as her position in the future series was kept under wraps. Asad Ayaz, chief marketing officer at Walt Disney Studios, tweeted a picture of “the team” of Ms Marvel, which featured the Load Wedding star, live from the event.
Samina Ahmed wore a black and classic gold silk sari, traditional earrings, and a classic black purse to the Ms Marvel premiere. She wasn’t in the trailer or the official cast list, but she was pictured at the premiere with the entire cast.
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Sana Amanat, and Marvel superstar Victoria Alonso all attended the debut of the Sharmeen Obaid series.
All three looked stunning on the red carpet, particularly the filmmaker, who wore an ivory cotton-silk kurta, churidar trousers, flowers on her side-parted hair, Kolhapuri chappal, and bright lip colour. Amanat looked stunning in a black traditional sari with a sequinned top and a neat hairstyle. Alonso wore a plum blouse with green silk slacks to match their atmosphere.
Prior to the launch, Chinoy, the show’s director, came to Instagram to provide some wise words for the Pakistani people. “If you had told a girl from Karachi growing up in the 1990s that she would one day be in Hollywood she would have never believed you.”
Ahmed, Fawad Khan, and Nimra Bucha were rumoured to be part of the team of the superhero movie earlier this year. Nimra Miwas briefly shown in the full trailer asking Kamala Khan whether she knows who she is, and all we know about her is that she is the major adversary. Despite the fact that Khan, Hayat, and Ahmed’s characters are in the programme, they have yet to appear in any of the teasers or excerpts published by the show’s producers on the official accounts.
Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Travina Springer, Farhan Akhtar, Bucha, Zenobia Shroff, Aramis Knight, Yasmeen Fletcher, Mohan Kapoor, Laurel Marsden, Laith Nakli, Khan, and Azhra Usman are among the film’s cast members.
