Pakistan’s 2020 Google Search History Exposed
Although the year 2020 was all about the pandemic, the coronavirus was however not the most googled 'c' word in Pakistan's 2020 google search history.
Although most suspected ‘coronavirus’ to be the most googled word this year, there were however other things and people that had the attention of Pakistani’s amidst the pandemic. This year’s Google search history revealed that Turkish serials, misogynistic comments and the US elections were among the most searched subjects.
Google revealed its “Year in Search” list and which consists of a collection of the newsworthy things that took place during the year and had sparked notable internet traffic.
Top search
This year — similar to the last two years — cricket continued to triumph the list. Six of the top 10 searches were related to cricket. Despite the global pandemic, Pakistani’s google search history has proven that cricket will remain their utmost priority.
