Rihanna has been a fashion icon since a really long time. People follow her due to her very exquisite look and style which definitely makes heads turn. Rihanna is not only a singer and an actress but she is also a business woman as she launched her own cosmetic brand by the name ‘Fenty Beauty’ in the year 2017.
She has recently paired up with LVMH and launched her own luxury fashion brand. The French fashion conglomerate confirmed this news by launched an official statement on 10th of May, announcing that it will be based in Paris.
“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader,”
said Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH.
He further stated:
“To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the group resources.”
Rihanna added
“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”
In a mid-May interview with T Magazine, Rihanna said that there would be no runway show for her brand, which she has described on a number of occasions as non-traditional. This line has been created by Rihanna and consists of ready-to-wear items, shoes and accessories. It will be named as ‘Fenty Maison’ and will launch online on 29th of May. A Paris pop-up boutique has already been launched on 24th of May.
