This is the very first time that Shae Gill and Atif Aslam have paired up for a single. The name of the single is “Manzil” and is being released by the US Embassy in Pakistan.
The song also features Sarwat Gilani in the music video and is directed by Sarmat Khoosat.
The music video for “Manzil” will premier tonight at 6PM.
The collaboration with Atif Aslam is just the latest indication of the ever growing popularity of Shae Gill. The singer has seen a massive popularity in her career since the release of her single “Pasoori”.
The song is considered to be one of the best singles of Coke Studio Season 14. It has also brought Shae Gill into the limelight and has gotten her lots of mainstream recognition.
Now she will be working with one of the legends of Pakistani music for a noble cause. We hope this songs encourages more people to take the shot.
So far only 55.4% of the Pakistani population has been vaccinated against Covid-19. That is less than the required 70% to ensure herd immunity.
