Taking into account the unrest over the country and the protests held by students against on-campus exams, HEC has allowed online exams to be taken.

Federal Minister of Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mehmood, has announced that Pakistan will follow a Single National Curriculum from August.

The Ministry of National Health Services in a statement emphasised on formulating a uniform syllabus for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test.

According to the agreement between HEC and Microsoft, the first 2000 to register on the Certification from Home Platform will receive the certifications for free.

Students have been protesting because they want HEC to suspend online exams as they are either not able to give exams or have a lack of resources.
