The Unexpected Travel Destinations Worth Visiting

For many Pakistanis, they tend to explore the typical holiday destinations such as Dubai, Malaysia and Thailand. However, there are a whole array of other destinations worth visiting that many of my  countrymen have not thought about. This article highlights some of the the best travel destinations that are worth visiting.

Iceland:

When many people think of Europe, they think about the beautiful mountains of Switzerland, or the exotic Amalfi Coast in Italy or the highly mesmerizing French Riviera. They do not think about visiting Iceland, however it is a place that is definitely worth visiting. Its breathtaking views, stunning topography and enchanting viking feel makes it an enthralling destination for tourism. Visit its stunning mountains, glaciers, waterfalls and lagoons to have a great sense of its mesmerizing natural beauty.

Mexico:

When one visits North America, they usually end up going to the US. Many Pakistani travelers often overlook the highly mesmerizing nation of Mexico. The country is rich with cultures and traditions, which are heavily influenced by indigenous and Spanish culture. There are endless places to visit in the country. For instance the highly popular capital Mexico City is rich with culture and history, while the resort towns of Cancun are known for their pristine beaches. Either case, Mexico is one country definitely worth visiting.

Morocco:

One of the most overlooked destinations by many Pakistanis, Morocco has many places worth visiting. From the beautiful blue coloured town of Chefchauoen to the hustling bustling cultural city of Casablanca, the North African nation has an endless amount of rich cultural places worth visiting. One of the places that definitely needs to be given a visit is Marrakesh, a city known for many beautiful tourist sites and natural beauty. If your looking to take a trip to Africa, make sure you have Morocco on your travel list.

Portugal:

Another European country worth visiting is Portugal. In recent years, the country has seen a surge in tourists arriving to its shores. However, the country tends to be overlooked by many Pakistani travelers who would rather spend their time and money in neighboring Spain. However, what makes Portugal a great travel destination is how cheap it is in terms of cost in comparison to other European countries. The country has some of the most beautiful cities in all of Europe such as Porto and the capital, Lisbon. It also is home to one of the most naturally beautiful places in all of Europe, the Algarve.

Vietnam:

A hidden gem in South East Asia, Vietnam has loads of natural beauty and history that makes it a very attractive tourist destination in the region. However, the country gets overlooked by many Pakistanis who end up going to more prominent destinations in the region such as Thailand and Malaysia. Vietnam has some of the most naturally gifted places in the world ranging from Ha Long Bay to the island Phu Quoc. It’s cities are also known for their rich history as well.
